Tips On Being More Liked In School
Being popular in school is sometimes a hard endeavor for students, especially students who come from differing backgrounds than the few popular kids that are born into the status. Some schools base popularity on being well off and kids go out of their way to purchase Louis Vuitton replica handbags and Balenciaga replica handbags in order to fit in and be welcomed by the rest of the popular kids. Other schools rank popularity by how many school extra curriculars you do or how integrated into the sports program you are. Some, more conservative schools, base popularity on the grades achieved, the best being the most popular. However, every school have a single thread in common: there are some popular kids that end up being like everyone else, they’re simply looked up to by the rest of their peers regardless of how much money they have or what kind of clothes they wear.
The simplest way to become one of these people is to be kind. Generally, the popular kids that people actually enjoy are the ones that are nice to everyone. These are the students that are willing to stop in the middle of the hallway and assist someone pick up their books. Likewise, they have no problem staying after school and tutoring their fellow classmates. In general, these students are all around great people and try to help out in any way possible.
Also, try to get along with every kind of group in your school. By discriminating, you set yourself apart and are less likely to make friends. However, if you are open minded to the students around you and allow people from all groups to be friends with you, you will be surprised how popular you will become. For once, being a drifter seems to be a fantastic thing so go out of your way to make new friends that are different from you. Not only will you have a better understanding of the world but you will also be challenged to think in a different way than you may have previously thought.
The most important thing to remember is that you should not try to be popular just for the sake of being popular. Being around with the popular kids, even when you aren’t invited, and pretending to be friends with people you dislike isn’t going to make you happy. Just have a good time, try to get along with everyone you meet, and everything should go swimmingly.
Obviously, not being favoured isn’t the end of the world. In fact, there are plenty of people that are just as happy to hang out with their own friends. The important thing to realize is who your friends are and if you are happy. Being happy with your place in life, in high school, and every other institution is what really matters. However, getting along with other peers never hurt so meeting new people, even if it’s not to gain popularity, is never a bad idea. You might just make a new best friend that way.
