She Had On The Most Elegant Pendants
I was seated at a table across from my companion when I first saw her. I had just finished studying my menu and had set it back down on the table when something distracted me. It was woman entering the restaurant. I will never forget how impressed I was by this striking woman. She had brushed by so quickly and then she was gone. The first thing I noticed were her pendants.
Her escort followed closely behind. During the few brief seconds I observed him, I noticed how proud he was. He was making it obvious to all that the arresting woman was with him. It was easy to see that they were newly courting. I wanted to look at her longer and appreciate every detail. She really knew how to put herself together. Her pendants were a pretty combination of purple and pink and they matched beautifully with her pretty blouse. The jewelry sparkled somehow, I think it must have had some sort of crystals on it.
I realized that women that wear jewelry emit a certain confidence and individuality. This woman definitely made an appearance. Where did she find those perfect accessories? If only she had walked a bit slower so I could look at the shoes and earrings again since I do not remember them.
Not being a person that admires pink and purple together, I was amazed that she was able to pull it off. There was something about this woman but I could not quite put my finger on it.
Was it her confidence? No. It was something to do with her jewelry. I thought about the image of her again and how striking those necklaces were. I thought of her skillful coordinating ability and then I knew. The woman had a gift.
I had noticed other things about the woman but had quickly disregarded them. I remember noticing that she had some extra weight in her mid section and that she was unnaturally tall. Since my eye had gone back to the pendant, I disregarded her flaws. Those beautiful pendants of hers had captured my eyes and forced them to rest at a pleasing point directly between her problematic areas! She had artfully drawn my eye to the pleasing jewelry!
She had used a few pendants to present herself in a very attractive way. I was very impressed. Many women will never have the gift, but this is one secret I will remember. Pendants Are Not Magical But They Can Create Illusions.
