Swim Show 2010, the world’s largest swimwear event of its kind, graced Miami with its presence this past July. The show, celebrating its 5th anniversary in South Beach, features the Resort season’s offerings of upcoming swim and resort wear. The year ahead promises styles to be sexy and flirty, offering incredible cuts and lavish details. Colors are going to be on either one of opposing teams: bright and trippy or black and white designs.

Her work went along well with all of the other bold colors and beautiful patterns seen at the Swim Show.

While being in Miami, you could really feel the traditional tropical feel with Luli Fama’s swimwear collection. The swim pieces were made full of Latin-themed sexiness and the magnificent Miami tropical colors. Monica Wise, the Mercedes Benz Presents Designer of 2010, brought her gorgeous and refreshing swimwear collection. Not only do her pieces look wonderful and unique, but she also uses her proceeds to enhance living conditions in Africa.

If you are looking for a very feminine swim appeal, then the look for Salinas should suit you. There are pieces with hearts, florals, dots, and stripes. Also, to make sure you feel girly, there are suits with bows and lingerie-inspired details. Betsey Johnson’s designer swimsuits may also be for those looking for the more feminine suits. The pieces were bright and were adorned with ruffles, bows, rosettes, and even a new twist on pleats, introducing the origami fold.

A Columbian brand, OndadeMar showed off a beautiful collection of floral and paisley prints, perfectly placed hardware, and gorgeous cover-ups. Rygy offered their usual sexy and sporty suits in bold colors, dots, stripes, and all types of bold prints. And each piece has a splash of yellow and fuchsia.

You should not expect anything except excellence in Betsey Johnson swimwear for the year of 2010. After the Miami women swimwear show 2010, a lot of hope was found in the fashion world and the happy mood of the designers is definitely coming out in their work.
