Decorating a Cute Kid’s Room with Baseball Bedroom Decor

There’s just something about children and baseball. After all , it’s the countrywide pass time, and youngsters start young. They dream of being professional baseball players with fantastic pitching arms and extraordinary batting talents, and they admire top players. What simpler way could you encourage your child’s imagination than by providing him with a baseball-themed bedroom? There are so many different products on the market now that you’ll be ready to provide your child with the perfect place to dream, to study, and to sleep.

Starting with the walls, there are tons of baseball wallpaper, borders, and huge murals of scoreboards and players for you to choose between. If you want to start by painting the walls, select a color associated with your child’s favorite team. Keep the colors light and add bright and primary accents which will look the most authentic, like the colors of the team’s caps. From there you can add life-sized murals of pitchers, catchers, referees, and batters. Layer them over each other,eg a umpire with a catcher in front of him and a batter in front of all, to make authentic wall scenes. You will also find murals that cover a whole wall and look like the bunch in the stands at a baseball game.

Once you’ve got the walls taken care of, you can think about flooring. One good choice could be green carpeting which will be soft for your kid to play on and will give the appearance of the grass on a baseball diamond. Other decisions include patterned carpets or area rugs that look like baseballs. You will also find a huge array of different bedding sets that feature balls, players, and even baseball cards, so your child will be in a position to select his favorites. Then you can select curtains to match, and hang them using baseball bats as rods, or you can hang baseball pennants as valances.

Accessories abound to accent your baseball bedroom decor. There are special ceiling fans with light fixtures that look like baseballs and arms resembling bats, or you can refurbish your existing fan by painting the blades with team colors and decoupaging them with baseball cards. Lots of accessories are available for your baseball-themed room. You can purchase charming table lamps, wall clocks, team posters, or a locker. Make sure you allow your kid to help you design his room, and he’s's certain to love it for years to come.
